Why aren’t the financial year journal entry links showing on the Financial Period view screen?

There are several possible reasons the links may not appear:

Financial year status: The journal entry links only appear when the financial year status is “Closed.” If the year is in “Open” or “Current” status, no journal entry links are displayed — this is the expected system behavior.

Permissions: All three links — Profit & Loss Entry, Closing Balance Entry, and Opening Balance Entry — are only visible to users who have the “View All Journals” permission. If this permission is not enabled in your role, the “Financial Period Information” section remains visible but without the journal entry links.

Missing journal entry: If a specific journal entry was not generated for any reason — such as the closing process being incomplete or the entry being deleted afterward — that particular link is hidden while the remaining journal entry links continue to display normally.
