Set the Stock Movement Time When Confirming a Requisition
When you confirm a requisition, you can set the actual date and time of the stock movement instead of recording it with the requisition’s original date. This helps when IN transactions for the same product were recorded after the requisition date: the requisition’s movement is recorded in its correct order, and the stock balance and average cost stay accurate.
🛈
Note: Requisitions for Sales Invoices or Requisitions for Purchase Invoices must be enabled from Inventory & Products Settings in the Stock Requisitions section. No extra permission is needed; the permission to approve or reject stock request is enough.

When Does the Time Popup Appear?
The Requisition Time Confirmation popup appears when you click Confirm only if an IN transaction was recorded for any product in the requisition with a date later than the requisition date. The requisition’s own transactions are not counted.
If this condition isn’t met, the requisition is confirmed directly with its original date, and the popup doesn’t appear. This applies to all requisitions regardless of their source: a sales invoice, a purchase invoice, or a manually added requisition.
Confirm a Requisition and Set the Movement Time
- Create the invoice. A requisition is created for it with the status Under Delivery.
- Open the requisition from Manage Requisitions, or from the requisitions section inside the invoice page.
- Click Confirm, either from the requisition view page or from the requisitions list.
- If the Requisition Time Confirmation popup appears, keep the suggested date and time (the requisition’s date and time), change them to the actual movement time, or turn on Use current date & time.
- Click Confirm to confirm the requisition with the set date and time, or Cancel to close the popup without any change.

FAQ
Why didn’t the popup appear when I confirmed the requisition?
Because there’s no IN transaction for the requisition’s products dated after the requisition date, so the requisition is confirmed directly with its original date.
Do I need a special permission to set the movement time?
No. The permission to confirm requisitions is enough.
What happens if I click Cancel?
The popup closes without any change, and the requisition stays Under Delivery with its original date.
