Why does the time window appear only sometimes when confirming a requisition?
The Requisition Time Confirmation window appears when you click Confirm on a requisition only if one of the products in the requisition has a stock-in transaction recorded with a date after the requisition’s date. In this case, the system asks you to set the actual time of the stock movement, so the movement isn’t recorded with an old date that would affect the stock balances and average cost. If there’s no later stock-in transaction, the requisition is confirmed directly with its date without the window appearing.
Example: an outbound requisition dated October 10 for a product, then a quantity of the same product was added by a purchase invoice dated October 12. When you confirm the requisition, the window appears, because there’s a stock-in transaction after the requisition’s date.
In the window:
- Set the Date and Time, or turn on Use current date & time. The default value is the requisition’s date and time.
- Click Confirm to confirm the requisition and record the stock transactions with the set date and time, or Cancel to close the window without confirming the requisition.

Note: The check runs on the product across all warehouses, not only the requisition’s warehouse, and whatever the requisition’s source. You don’t need an extra permission; the permission to confirm requisitions is enough.
