Default Taxes

You can set default taxes for products and services that allow you to assign tax automatically to new products and services without having to reassign them from the Tax1 or Tax2 field when adding a new product or service.

  1. From the main menu, click on “Inventory”.
  2. Click on “Products Settings”.
  3. Click on “Default Taxes”.
    • Tax 1: Select a tax that will be assigned to the product or service file and added to the product’s price during the creation of sales and purchase invoices.
    • Tax 2: Select a tax that will be assigned to the product or service file and added to the product’s price during the creation of sales and purchase invoices.
      • If you are using only one type of tax, in this case, you should leave the second tax field empty so that the tax value is not added twice to the product or service price.
  4. Click on the “Save” button.

Note: After activating the default taxes for products and services, it will only affect new products. It will not affect old products unless you perform an “Edit” and then “Save”  again.
