Tracking Products by Lot Number

Product Tracking Options

Daftra software allows you to track your products through various options; whether by serial number, lot number, or expiration date. This is done when adding a new product. For more details on how to add a product, please refer to the guide “Adding a Product/ Adding a Service“.

 

To activate this feature, click on the checkbox “Track Products Using Serial, Lot or Expiry Date” in inventory settings. For more details, refer to the guide General Inventory Settings.

Tracking Products by Lot Number

  1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
  2. Click on “Product Tracking“.
  3. Click on “Lot Number“.
    • Note: There must be products already tracked by the lot number in your account for the “Lot Number” option to appear. For more details, refer to the guide “Adding a Product/ Adding a Service“.
  4. Use the search options located at the top of the products list to search for the desired product, as follows:
    • Search by Product: Type the desired product name in the search box.
    • Search by Warehouse: Select the warehouse containing the desired product from the dropdown menu.
    • Search by Lot Number: Type the desired lot number to view its products.
  5. To view available products, click on the “Available” button.
  6. To view unavailable products, click on the “Out Of Stock” button.
  7. Click on the desired product to view it.

Viewing the Stock Transactions for a Lot Number-tracked Product

  1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
  2. Click on “Product Tracking“.
  3. Click on the card “Lot Number“.
  4. Click on the product for which you want to view its stock movement.
    • Under the “Details” tab, the system will display the product details, including its name and lot number.
  5. Click on the “Stock Transactions” tab to view the product movement details.
    • The system will show you the details of the product’s stock movement.
