Adding Items to the Price List

Adding a Product to a Price List

  1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
  2. Click on “Price List“.
  3. Click on the price list where you want to add the products.
  4. Click on the “Add Item” button.
  5. Enter the required data as follows:
    • Item: Choose from the drop-down menu the items you want to add. You can search by the product/service name to find it. For more details on how to add new items, please refer to the guide “Add a Product/ Add a Service“.
    • Selling Price: Enter the desired selling price to be displayed in the price list for this item.
  6. Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Importing Items to the Price List

  1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
  2. Click on “Price List“.
  3. Click on the price list to which you want to add products.
  4. Click on the “Import” button.
  5. Select the product/service file you wish to import into the price list by clicking on the “Choose File” button under “CSV File“. Please make sure the file format is CSV.
  6. Under “Delimiters“, choose from the drop-down one of the delimiters supported by the system, which are:
    • Comma Separated
    • Semicolon Separated
    • Tab Delimited
      • Note: Please contact the technical support team of Daftra for more information on supported file formats and methods of preparing them for uploading to the system.
  7. Click on the “Next Step” button.
  8. Map each column inside the file to the fields in the system as follows:
    • Products: A column representing the names of the products/services to be displayed in the price list.
    • Prices: The price of each product being added to the price list.
  9. Click on the “Import” button.
  • Note: The software will provide a clear statement of the records that have been successfully imported, the records that have been updated, and the records that have been rejected for any reason.
