Adding a Production Route
What is a Production Route?
A production route typically refers to the series of stages involved in the manufacturing process for each product. In Daftra, each part of the manufacturing process is linked to its respective stage. For example, if you’re making pasta, you would create a production route for pasta, which could include stages like mixing the ingredients, kneading the dough, shaping the dough, and so on.
When creating Bills of Materials or manufacturing orders, each raw material, expense, or workstation (manufacturing process) is linked to its corresponding production stage. This enables classification in manufacturing reports, ensuring that each transaction is attributed to the appropriate stage of production.
