When does the delivery/receipt time confirmation message appear when confirming a requisition?
The Requisition Time Confirmation message appears when you click Confirm on a requisition if both of these conditions are met:
- One of the products in the requisition has a stock-in transaction, such as a purchase invoice or an inbound requisition.
- The date of that transaction is after the date of the requisition you’re confirming.
This usually happens when you confirm an old requisition after new quantities of the same product came in, so the system asks you to set the actual time the products were delivered or received, instead of recording the transaction with the old requisition date.
| Case | Does the message appear? |
|---|---|
| A requisition dated October 10, and a purchase invoice for the same product dated October 12 | Yes |
| A requisition dated October 10, and only a sales invoice (stock-out transaction) for the same product dated October 12 | No |
| A requisition dated October 10, and a stock-in transaction for the same product dated October 8 | No |
| A later stock-in transaction for another product that isn’t in the requisition | No |
When the message appears, set the Date and Time, or turn on Use current date & time, then click Confirm. If it doesn’t appear, the requisition is confirmed directly with its date.
🛈
Note: Only confirmed stock-in transactions count, across all warehouses, not only the requisition’s warehouse. The message appears whatever the requisition’s source, whether it came from a sales invoice, a purchase invoice, or was added manually.
