Setting a fixed Item Discount

Daftra software allows the application of a fixed discount for a product/service. The discount is calculated immediately upon selecting the product/service in the invoice item table.

Enabling the feature of adding an item fixed discount

1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
2. Click on “Inventory Settings”.
3. Click on the “General” card.
4. Click on the checkbox “Advanced Pricing Options” to activate the feature.
5. Click on the “Save” button.

Setting an Item fixed Discount

1. Click on “Inventory” from the main menu.
2. Click on “Products & Services“.
3. Start by adding a “New Product/Service“, or “Edit an Existing Product/Service“.
4. Go to the “Pricing Details” section on the right side.
5. In the “Discount” field, enter the discount value you want to apply to the selected product/service as a fixed rate.
6. Select the “Discount Type” from the dropdown list, whether the discount is a “Percentage (%)” or an “Amount ($)“.
7. Complete the remaining data for the newly added product/service or adjust the required modifications for the product/service.
8. Click on the “Save” button.

• The effect of the specified discount will appear when adding the product/service to the invoice items.
• Note: You must activate “Item Level Discount” in the sales invoice for the discount effect to appear when issuing the invoice to the client. For more details, see the guide “Invoice and Estimates Settings”.
