Units Templates Guide
The Units Templates system gives you more flexibility to manage products that are sold or purchased in different measurement units, such as grams and kilograms or meters and kilometers. This system enables you to associate each product with a specific unit template, ensuring accurate calculation of prices and quantities.
In this guide, we will go through the steps to enable unit templates, create a new template, and link it to products and invoices.
Enable Units Templates
Before starting, you must enable the unit templates feature in inventory settings.
Go to “Inventory Settings” from the “Inventory” dropdown menu, click on the tab “General“.
Enable the option “Enable Multiple Units System“.
Add Unit Template

Click “Add” and choose “New Product“.
Add a new product that can be measured with the unit “gram”, and set the sales and purchase price per gram. Click “Save“.
Create a Sales Invoice
From the main menu, click “Sales“, then select “Create Invoice“.
Choose the product you added that is linked to the unit template.
The system will automatically calculate the unit price (gram) based on the base product price.
You have now completed setting up the product and linking it with the unit template. This helps you price and sell products accurately using different units and makes it easier to manage inventory and track transactions clearly.
