Adding Credit Types
- Note: Before starting, make sure you have activated the Points & Credits App in your account.
In order to add packages to issue subscriptions related to points and credits, you must first add types for the credit that will be used to issue the packages.
For example, if your business is related to gyms and training centers, you’ll need to add a credit type called “Sessions” and specify the number of sessions for this type.
- From the main menu, click on “Points & Credits“.
- Click on “Settings“.
- Click on the card titled “Credit Types“.
- Click on the “New Credit Type” button.
- Enter the credit type information as follows:
- Credit Name: Proceed by entering the desired credit name, for example, “Sessions, Classes, etc…”.
- Status: Choose the status for the balance type, whether it’s “Active” or “Inactive”.
- Unit: Enter the singular name related to the credit name, e.g., “Session, Class, etc…”.
- Allow Decimal: If you activate this option, you’ll be able to use decimal numbers in the credit unit.
- Description: Enter a description for the credit type.
- Click on the “Save” button to add the credit type.
