Adding a Lease Contract
Lease management is a key component in the success of any rental-based business. The system allows for creating booking orders, setting pricing rules, and tracking all related invoices. It also provides precise control over the installment schedule, whether generated automatically or manually, with full integration into the general accounting system.
Steps to Add a Lease Contract:
- Select “Rentals and Units Management” from the main menu.
- Click on “Lease Contracts”.
- Click the “Add Lease Contract” button.
- Fill in the lease contract details:
- Code: Add a unique code to identify the contract.
- Unit: Select the unit to be leased from the dropdown list.
- Client: Select the client from the list.
- Leasing Period: Specify the duration of the contract (in months or years).
- Start Date: Specify the start date of the lease contract..
- End Date: Specify the end date of the contract.
- Notes: You can add any additional notes about the contract, if any.
- Attachments: You can add any documents or images related to the contract.
- Tags: You can add tags or keywords to facilitate searching for the contract or classifying it.
- Payment Terms:
- Installments Amount: Specify the fixed installment value.
- Payment Frequency: Specify the payment frequency (e.g., monthly – annually – quarterly).
- Insurance Amount: Add the due insurance amount.
- Tax: Select the tax type from the dropdown list.
- Sales Account: Select the sales account to which the rent payments should be recorded.
- Installments: After filling in the previous data, a list of scheduled fixed installments will appear with amounts and due dates.
- Click the “Save” button.
