What happens to duplicate unit templates across branches when sharing is enabled?

The purpose of enabling Unit Templates sharing is to standardize units of measurement across all branches and prevent duplication. When disabled, each branch retains its own unit templates.

In other words, when this option is enabled, unit templates become unified and shared across all branches, meaning separate or duplicate versions of the same template can no longer exist independently in each branch. A unit template created in one branch automatically becomes available to all other branches.
