Sharing Unit Templates Across Branches

This feature allows Unit Templates to be shared across all account branches without requiring the products themselves to be shared between those branches.

Before You Start

• This feature requires activating the Branches app on the account by navigating to Settings from the main menu and selecting Apps Manager.

Steps

• From the main menu, click Branches.
• Select Branches Settings.
• Navigate to the Branch Sharing Settings section.
• Enable the Unit Templates toggle.
• Click Save.

How the System Works

• Once Unit Templates sharing is enabled, any unit template created in one branch automatically becomes available in all other branches, even if the products themselves are not shared between those branches.
• Enabling the Products sharing toggle on the same screen automatically enables the Unit Templates sharing toggle as a default associated behavior.
• However, disabling Products sharing later does not automatically disable Unit Templates sharing. The toggle remains enabled until you manually disable it.
