Chart of Accounts
- Note: Before starting, make sure to activate the chart of accounts app in your account.
The chart of accounts is a financial organizational tool that provides a complete list of every account in the company’s general ledger, divided into subcategories. This list includes the names and numbers of the accounts which determine their location in the ledger. There are several arrangements for it, one of which is the hierarchical arrangement distinguished by Daftra system.
Viewing the Chart of Accounts
- Click on “Accounting” from the main menu.
- Click on “Chart of Accounts”.
- The software displays the chart of accounts in a hierarchical organization on the left side, and the values of the main and sub account balances appear on the right side.
Searching in the Chart of Accounts
- Click on “Accounting” from the main menu.
- Click on “Chart of Accounts”.
- Enter the account name or its code in the “Search” field at the top of the chart of the accounts.
