Viewing the Journals Report

  1. Click on the “Reports” menu.
  2. Click on “Accounting Reports“.
  3. From the “Accounting Reports” page, select the “Journals” report.
  4. After viewing the report, you can apply a number of additional filters, which are:
    • Source: Select the type/source of the transactions you want to display, or choose “All” to display all transactions.
    • Journal-account: Select a sub-account to display its journal entries.
    • From Date: Specify the start date of the period for which you want to display the report.
    • To Date: Specify the end date of the period for which you want to display the report.
    • Branch: Select one or more branches to display entries that have been added through them.
    • Group by: Choose how to display the report based on grouping either by journal entry or by branch.
  5. Once the filters are adjusted, click on “Show Report“.
  6. You can print the report from “Print” or export it to a CSV, EXCEL, or PDF file from the export options.

Note: Please be aware that journals saved as a draft will not affect the journals report until they are approved and saved as an issued journal entry.
