What happens when settling a tax declaration for a period that’s already been settled?

The behavior depends on how much of the previous settlement was completed:

• If all tax types present in the report results for that period have already been settled: the settlement popup does not open when you click the button. Instead, a message appears below the button: “The tax accounts for the selected period have already been settled. No further settlement entries are required.”
• If only some tax types have been settled (not all): the settlement popup opens normally, but the “Settlement Account” dropdown for the already-settled tax is hidden, replaced with a notice: “Already settled for this period.” The remaining, unsettled tax types stay visible and ready to be filled in, allowing you to complete the settlement for what’s left without affecting what was already done.
