Setting Up a New Account: Your Details and Choosing the Business Field

After creating your account, the system asks you to complete two steps before starting: some simple details about you and your company, then choosing the business field. This guide explains each step, what happens when you choose the field, and how to choose the field suited to your business.

Step One: Your Details and Your Company’s Details

The first screen that appears is titled Your account is ready, customize it now, and it has:

1. First Name and Last Name.
2. Job Title: choose your actual job in the company.
3. Company Size: the approximate number of employees.
4. If you need to change the country, currency, language, or time zone, click Change Language and Region Settings.
5. Click Next, then enter the address, the city, the tax number or the commercial registration (optional), and the logo, and click Continue.

Step Two: Choosing the Business Field

The Business Field screen appears, and it has more than one way to reach your field:

1. Type your activity in the Search for your business field box, such as: pharmacy, clinic, maintenance, clothing.
2. Or choose the sector and then the field from inside it.
3. Or click View All Fields to see the full list.
4. When you choose the field, the message You have chosen …, do you want to continue? appears; click Yes, Continue if you are sure, or No, Change Business Field to go back.
5. Wait a moment until the account is prepared, then you will enter the dashboard.

What Happens When You Choose the Field?

The system has a ready-made account for each field, and when you choose, this ready-made setup is copied to your account, and it includes:

• The apps suited to the field (such as inventory and point of sale for shops, or appointments for clinics).
• A chart of accounts and settings suited to the business.
• Invoice designs and print templates.
• Ready-made roles and permissions for employees.
• Some sample data that helps you understand how to work.
• Your country’s default tax, and the e-invoice suited to your country (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, or the UAE) if it is part of the field’s setup.

Available Fields

The list differs slightly according to your country and the account language, but these are the most important fields divided by sector:

Beauty and Fitness	Beauty centers and hair salons, gym management and fitness centers and health clubs

How Do You Choose the Right Field?

1. Choose the field closest to your main source of income, not to all the activities you do. For example, a mobile phone shop that offers simple maintenance chooses Mobile Phone Shops.
2. If your business is general trade and you didn’t find your field by name, choose Shops and Stores or Trading and Supply Establishments.
3. If your business is service-based (you don’t sell products with stock), choose the closest service field, such as Consulting Offices.
4. For clinics and medical centers, choose the suitable medical field, because some medical apps appear only for it.
5. If there is no close field, click Skip and Set Up the System Manually.

When Should I Choose “Skip and Set Up the System Manually”?

Choose it if your business isn’t in the list, or if you prefer to start with an empty account and enable the apps yourself. You will be taken to the Apps Manager to choose what you need. In this case, no settings or sample data are copied, and a field cannot be chosen later after you start working on the account.

After Entering the Account

• To enable or disable any app, open the Apps Manager.
• If you sell products only, services only, or both, you can change the Nature of Business Sales from Invoice Settings.
• The sample data that came with the field can be deleted before actually starting.

Frequently Asked Questions

I chose the wrong field. Can it be changed?

It cannot be changed from inside the account. You can adjust the apps from the Apps Manager, and if the account is new and you haven’t started working on it yet, contact support to help you.

Does the field determine the apps available to me?

The field enables a group of apps at the start only, and afterwards you can enable any available app from the Apps Manager. Highly specialized apps (such as prescriptions) appear only for the fields related to them.

I have more than one activity. What do I choose?

Choose the biggest activity, then enable the rest of the apps you need from the Apps Manager.
