Adding a Leave Permission
Add the necessary permissions for leaves that require prior approval, and adjust their settings as outlined below.
- Note: Before you begin, make sure to activate the Employee Attendance app in your account.
How to add a Leave Permission
- From the main menu, click on “Attendance“.
- Click on “Attendance Permissions“.
- Click on the button “New Attendance Permission“.
- Enter the attendance permission information as follows:
- Employee: Select the employee for whom you want to create an attendance permission.
- Date: From the dropdown arrow within the date field, select whether the attendance permission is for a “Range” or a “Single” day.
- Range: From the two calendar fields, select the start and end dates of the range.
- Single: From the calendar field, select the date for the attendance permission.
- Type: From the dropdown menu, select the type of the attendance permission, and choose between “Leave” or “Delay”
- If “Leave” is selected, choose the “Leave Type” from the dropdown.
- If “Delay” is selected, specify the “Late Time” in minutes.
- Note: Enter any required notes about the leave permission in the dialog box.
- Date of Application: From the calendar, select the date the leave permission was created.
- Click on the “Save” button.
- Note: You cannot create a leave permission on a day that already exists in the attendance record. The leave permission must be on a day not previously recorded in the attendance statement.
