Inventory Detailed Transactions Report
Report Overview
The Inventory Detailed Transactions Report displays all incoming and outgoing inventory movements for each product in detail over a selected period. Each transaction is shown individually with its timestamp, type, and associated warehouse.
This report is used to accurately track every inventory movement and identify the source of any change in product balance, whether it is a sales invoice, bundled product, stock count, or manual adjustment.
How to Access the Report
- Go to the Reports menu, then select Inventory Reports.
- Click on Inventory Detailed Transactions Report.
- You can apply several filters before displaying the report:
- Date From – To: Select the time period for which you want to view inventory movements. You can set the same date in both fields to display movements for a single day only.
- Product: Select a specific product to display its movements only. You can search by product name or code.
- If no product is selected, the system will display movements for all products.

Warehouse: Select a specific warehouse to view movements for its products only.

If no warehouse is selected, movements from all warehouses will be displayed.

Type: Filter results to display movements of a specific type only. Available types include:
- Invoice
- Purchase Invoice
- Sales Return
- Purchase Return
- Bundled Product
- External Bundled Product
- Stock Permission
- Internal Stock Count
- External Stock Count
- Stock Transfer
- Manufacturing Order
- Manual Adjustment
- If no type is selected, all movement types will be displayed.
After setting your filters, click Show Report to update the results.
You can print the report using Print, or export it via Export Options to:
- CSV
- Excel
Report Columns
The table displays each inventory movement as a separate row. The report begins with an opening row that shows the initial inventory quantity before the selected start date.
Columns are organized as follows:
- Time: The date and time when the movement was recorded in the system.
- Type: The type of transaction that caused the movement, such as invoice, bundled product, stock count, stock transfer, or manual adjustment.
- Product Code: The unique identifier of the product as recorded in the system.
- Product Name: The name of the product associated with the movement.
- Inward: The quantity added to inventory in this transaction, along with the unit of measurement.
- Outward: The quantity removed from inventory in this transaction (displayed as a negative value), along with the unit of measurement.
- Notes: Any additional notes related to the movement. These often appear when adding bundled product quantities along with the reference invoice number.
- Warehouse: The name of the warehouse where the movement took place.
