Setting up the SMTP Settings for Outlook emails
What is the SMTP?
The system sends emails on behalf of its users by default through the email address “maildelivery@daftra.com” to ensure that messages are successfully delivered to clients without being bounced back or rejected by the email server.
If you prefer to use your own email address as the sender and receiver for all messages, instead of sending through maildelivery@daftra.com, you need to configure the SMTP settings on your account.
Settings up the SMTP settings for Outlook
- Outlook typically blocks or rejects any connection from an unverified SMTP protocol. Therefore, you must authenticate our service platforms with your Outlook address in order to activate the communication system within the software.
- From the main menu, click on “Settings.”
- From the menu, select “SMTP Settings.”
- Check the box “Send email using SMTP account.”
- Click on “Outlook” and log into your Microsoft account if you haven’t already.
- You will see the SMTP settings automatically configured and the fields populated.
- Click the “Save” button.
