Viewing the Journals Report
- Click on the “Reports” menu.
- Click on “Accounting Reports“.
- From the “Accounting Reports” page, select the “Journals” report.
- After viewing the report, you can apply a number of additional filters, which are:
- Source: Select the type/source of the transactions you want to display, or choose “All” to display all transactions.
- Journal-account: Select a sub-account to display its journal entries.
- From Date: Specify the start date of the period for which you want to display the report.
- To Date: Specify the end date of the period for which you want to display the report.
- Branch: Select one or more branches to display entries that have been added through them.
- Group by: Choose how to display the report based on grouping either by journal entry or by branch.
- Once the filters are adjusted, click on “Show Report“.
- You can print the report from “Print” or export it to a CSV, EXCEL, or PDF file from the export options.
Note: Please be aware that journals saved as a draft will not affect the journals report until they are approved and saved as an issued journal entry.
