Detailed Stock Transactions for Each Product Report
Report Overview
The Detailed Stock Transactions for Each Product Report provides a detailed view of every inventory transaction for specific products over a selected period. It shows the opening stock before the period, then lists each inward and outward transaction with its source, warehouse, unit price, average cost, and the inventory value after each movement.
This report is used to accurately trace inventory movements, audit quantities and costs, and identify any discrepancies or data issues.
How to Access the Report
- Go to the Reports menu.
- Click on Store Reports.
- Select Detailed Stock Transactions for Each Product.
You can apply the following filters before displaying the report:
- Date Range (From – To): Select the period for which you want to view movements.
- Source: Filter movements based on the document type that generated them.
- Product: Select one or more products to view their movements only.
- Warehouse: Select one or more warehouses to view their movements only.
- Category: Filter products by category.
- Order By: Select how to sort the report results.
- Currency: Select the currency for displaying the report.
After adjusting the filters, click Show Report to update the results.
You can switch between:
- Summary View
- Detailed View
You can print the report using Print, or export it via Export to:
- CSV
- Excel
Report Columns
The table displays movements for each product individually, starting with an Opening Stock row, followed by each transaction in sequence.
- Transaction: The movement date and reference number in the system.
- Source: The document type that generated the movement along with its reference.
- Warehouse: The warehouse where the movement took place.
- Quantity: The movement quantity (positive for inward, negative for outward).
- Price per Unit (SAR): The selling or cost price per unit in this transaction.
- Stock Level After: The inventory balance after the transaction.
- Average Unit Cost: The calculated average cost per unit after this transaction.
- Total Transaction Value: The total value of the movement calculated using the average cost.
- Total Price: The total value of the transaction based on the actual selling or purchase price.
- Stock Value After: The total inventory value remaining after the transaction.
