Do rejected files consume balance?

No. Files that are rejected during the validation process (whether due to an unsupported file type, exceeding the allowed size, or being a duplicate) do not consume any AI Coins (AIC) balance. Balance is only deducted when processing files that have been successfully accepted as valid.
