What is the POS App for Mobile Phones?

The mobile point of sale app from Daftra is a version of the embedded point of sale application on the Daftra website as well as from the desktop point of sale app, but it can be used via mobile, making it easier for sales representatives to record invoices anytime and anywhere.

The app works online and offline without the internet, providing a synchronization feature to transfer completed invoices and transactions on the mobile app to the main account in Daftra, ensuring the accuracy and safety of your accounting and financial operations.

Downloading Daftra's Mobile POS App

Or, go directly to the app through the link, and click on “Install” to download the program.

You or any of the users on your Daftra account can log into the app using the email and password, or by scanning the barcode by clicking on “All Apps” from the main menu and choosing “POS”.

After logging in, click on the three dots at the top right, select “POS Settings” from the dropdown menu, choose the branch for which you want to issue point of sale invoices, then select the point of sale from those registered on your Daftra account and click “Save”.

You can easily browse product categories like “Grocery Products” by clicking on the card labeled “Manage Categories”.

Similarly, you can review products such as “White Sugar” by clicking on the “Manage Items” card.

To edit or delete, click on the desired product or category and press the “Edit” or “Delete” button.

How to use the Mobile POS App of Daftra

To start selling, click on the card labeled “Point Of Sale”.

Then click on the product category to view the products within it, then click on the products the client has chosen to purchase.

For example: If the product “Low Fat Cheese” is within the category “Types of Cheese”, click on the category “Types of Cheese” and then click on the product “Low Fat Cheese” to add the item to the client’s shopping cart.

After adding all the required products for your client, click on the “Checkout” button.

Adjust the product price, quantity, and discount if available, then click on the “PAYMENT” button. Choose a payment method like “Cash” or “Visa” and then click on the “CONFIRM” button to issue the client’s invoice.

To print the invoice, click on the “Print” button. To continue the selling process for other clients, click on the symbol ❎, add items to the shopping cart, and repeat the steps.

Synchronizing the POS Mobile App Invoices with your Daftra Account

When the mobile is connected to the internet while using the Point of Sale app, invoices are synchronized instantly and appear on your Daftra account immediately upon being issued from the mobile app. However, if you’re using the mobile app without an internet connection, you can synchronize upon connecting by following these steps:

  • Click on the card labeled “Invoices” to view all the invoices.
  • Click on the “Sync All” button, or click on the desired invoice to be synchronized and then click on the “Sync” button.

Temporarily Putting an Order On Hold

You can put sales orders on hold before confirming the invoices. Here are the steps:

  • Click on the card labeled “Point of Sale”.
  • Click on the desired category.
  • Select the item.
  • Click on the “Checkout” button.
  • Then click the back button on your mobile according to your operating system. A message will appear asking, “Do you want to put this order on hold?” Click on the “Put On Hold” button.
  • To complete pending orders, click on the “On Hold Orders” card, then click on the order, and press the “PAYMENT” button, then the “CONFIRM” button to issue the invoice.

Creating a Refund Receipt for a Sales Invoice

You can issue returns on sales invoices partially for some invoice items or for the entire invoice, by following these steps:

  • Click on the card labeled “Invoices”.
  • Click on the invoice you wish to issue a return for.
  • Click on the “Refund” button.
  • Click on the arrow button and select the quantity to be returned for each item, then click the arrow button again.
  • Click on the “Refund” button.
  • Select the refund amount and payment method.
  • Click on the “Confirm” button.
  • To print the returned invoice, click on the “Print” button.
  • To go back, click on the icon.

You can click on the card labeled “Returned Receipts” to review all your sales returns.
