Electronic Invoice Reader Application
The Electronic Invoice Reader application reads images of invoices to verify their accuracy and details. It matches their specifications with the requirements of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, and displays the data by scanning the embedded barcode of Saudi invoices.
To download the Electronic Invoice Reader application:
The employee goes to the store to download:
The Electronic Invoice Reader program from Daftra via the Google Play Store.
The Electronic Invoice Reader program from Daftra via the Apple App Store.
Or go directly to the application through the link, and click “Install” to download the program.
Steps for scanning the invoice through the application
The program does not require creating an account or logging in. The user goes directly to open the application after downloading.
After opening the application:
Click on “Use the camera” and take a picture of the invoice with the barcode clearly visible.
Or click on “Upload the invoice from the photo gallery” and upload an image of the invoice with the barcode clearly visible.
After the application examines the invoice, you will see one of these results:
- The invoice has been successfully scanned with the display of its complete data.
- Incomplete invoice data ⚠️ with the display of existing data and the missing fields of its data.
The Quick Response (QR) code is not encrypted in base64 format and is not compliant with the standards of the Zakat and Income Authority.
- Note: You can review all the invoices you have deleted, indicated by the check status and invoice details.
