What is the KSA Invoice QR Reader App?
The KSA Invoice QR Reader App enables both companies and individuals to declare the validity of the invoice data and to what level it complies with the regulations of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority by scanning the invoice or uploading it as a file, and the verification of it is done via the QR Code.
Downloading the KSA Invoice QR Reader App
The employee goes to the store to download:

How to verify the Invoice Data by scanning the QR Code through the App?
The app does not require account creation or login; the user directly opens the app after downloading it.
After opening the app:
Click on “Use the Camera” and photograph the invoice, ensuring the QR code is clear.
Or click on “Upload the invoice from the photo gallery” and upload a picture of the invoice, ensuring the QR is clear.
After the app scans the invoice, one of these results will appear to you:
- The invoice was successfully checked ☑️ with a full display of its details.
- Invoice data is incomplete ⚠️, showing existing data and fields with missing information.
- The QR code is not encoded in base64 format and is not compliant with the standards of the Zakat and Income Authority.
- Note: You can see all the invoices you scanned, showing the scan status and the invoice details.
