“Account Information” Screen Guide
The “Account Information” screen displays a comprehensive summary of your Daftra account: your business’s core details, your subscription plan details and consumption percentage, your account number and support code, along with quick links to edit settings, download a backup, or cancel the account. This guide explains the required permissions, the steps to access the screen, its content element by element, and the cases in which each element appears or disappears.
🛈
Note: you need the “Edit General Settings” permission or the “View Account Information” permission to be able to open this screen.
How to Access the Screen
- From the sidebar menu, click on the “Settings” tab.
- From the submenu, click on “Account Information”.
Screen Header
- Account #: your account’s identification number in Daftra, directly copyable by clicking on it.
- Support PIN: a 4-digit code specific to your account, copyable. It’s automatically attached to any message you send through the “Contact Us” form to help the support team verify your account.
Business Card
- Logo and Business Name: the logo only appears if one has already been uploaded.
- Subdomain: next to it is an “Edit” link that only appears if your plan supports linking a custom domain, and takes you to the custom domains management screen.
- Address: the registered business address.
- An “Edit” link below the address: doesn’t edit anything directly here, but takes you to the “Business Information” screen within Settings to edit the name, logo, and contact details.
- Default Currency, Timezone, Date Format (with today’s date shown next to it as a live example of the final format).
- “Download Backup” button: only appears for the account owner, and doesn’t appear for other employees even if they have permission to access this screen.
- “Cancel this Account” link: this action requires confirmation before the cancellation is carried out.
Plan & Subscription Card
- Account Plan: the name of the current plan.
- Expires On: the plan’s expiration date (or “Never” for some special plans), with a “Renew Plan” button.
- “Upgrade Plan” button.
- “Accounts Dashboard” button: takes you to your accounts management page on the Daftra portal.
- Plan Consumption: a list of each of your plan’s limits (such as additional users, additional branches, clients, employees, invoices and quotations, cash treasuries and banks, and others depending on the add-ons enabled for you). Each item shows the currently used value, then a progress bar, then the maximum limit (or the ∞ symbol if there’s no limit for this item). Some items display an “Order Extra” button next to them to request an increase to the limit, when this option is available for your plan.
Important Notes
- The “Renew Plan,” “Upgrade Plan,” and “Accounts Dashboard” buttons don’t appear within the iOS apps, and the renewal/upgrade buttons are also hidden for some special partnership plans.
- The color of each item’s progress bar in “Plan Consumption” automatically changes based on the consumption percentage: green up to 65%, orange between 65% and 80%, red above 80%.
- The storage space item doesn’t appear within “Plan Consumption” unless your actual consumption exceeds 20% of the space available for your plan.
- Business information (name, logo, address…) can’t be edited directly from this screen; it’s a view and summary screen only, and the “Edit” links take you to the dedicated screens for that.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why don’t I see the Plan & Subscription card? Most likely because your account is managed as a private white-label brand; this card never appears for this type of account.
- What’s the “Support PIN” for? It’s used to verify your account’s identity when contacting the support team, and is automatically attached to messages sent through the “Contact Us” form.
- Why don’t I see the “Download Backup” button? This button is only available to the account owner, regardless of your other permissions.
- How do I change the business name or logo from this screen? They can’t be edited directly from here; click the “Edit” link below the business details to go to the “Business Information” screen within Settings.
- Why doesn’t the “Order Extra” button appear next to one of the plan consumption items? This button only appears for items that support requesting a limit increase within your current plan.
