Delete or Deactivate a Car Type

If a specific car type is no longer needed, you can delete or temporarily deactivate it by following these steps:

1. From the main menu, go to “Rental and Car Management.”
2. Navigate to “Settings,” then click “Unit Types.”
3. Next to the type you wish to delete, click the Actions button and select “Delete.”
4. Confirm the deletion by clicking “Yes” in the confirmation message.

To temporarily deactivate a car type:

1. Click on the car type you want to deactivate to open its details page.
2. Inside the page, click “Deactivate.”
3. Click “Save” to apply the change.
   • After deactivation, this car type will no longer appear among the available options when adding a new rental car. You can reactivate it later by following the same steps.
