Stocktaking adjustment is also a fundamental step for closing the accounts and preparing financial reports. In this article, we will learn about the steps for stocktaking adjustment for specific products or for the total stock you have.

From the dropdown menu under <\/span>“Select Product”<\/b> select the product you wish to stock-take then select the stocktaking unit from the dropdown menu under <\/span>“Select Unit”<\/b> from among the units you have previously added to the system for this product, and enter the actual product quantity resulting from monitoring your inventory, to be compared with the number recorded in the software, then click on the button <\/span>“Save and Continue”<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can repeat the process and enter more than one product to perform the stocktaking adjustment for them together. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the stocktaking process and before completing the adjustment, you can update the product quantities in the system according to the latest transactions to ensure that no sales or purchases for the inventory included in the count have occurred during your stocktaking and were not included.<\/p>\n

Click the “Update System Count”<\/strong> button and choose from the dropdown menu “Update All”<\/strong> to update all products, or “Update Uncounted”<\/strong> to update only the products that were not counted during the stocktaking.<\/p>\n

From the same stocktaking sheet screen, click on the arrow next to <\/span>“Add All Products From Warehouse”<\/b> then click on the dropdown choice from the arrow <\/span>“Add All Products”<\/b> to find all your products have been imported.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next to the product name, enter the actual stock count when you stock-take the warehouse under the column <\/span>“Physical Count”<\/b> and then press the <\/span>“Done”<\/b> button to compare the actual stock count with the count on the system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Click the <\/span>“Do Stocktaking”<\/b> button to return to the stocktaking sheet products screen, or click the <\/span>“Adjust”<\/b> button to complete the stock adjustment for the sheet.<\/span><\/p>\n
