To add a category to a client, click on <\/span>“Add New Client”<\/b> from the <\/span>“Clients”<\/b> dropdown in the main menu, or by editing the profile of an existing client. Then go to the category field, click on the dropdown arrow to choose one of the existing categories or type the new category you wish to add then press the <\/span>“Enter”<\/b> key on your keyboard to add it, complete the data and then click on the <\/span>“Save”<\/b> button.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tags, on the other hand, are used to indicate a particular status related to a client or a number of clients, and you can add them from the same page as adding a client category by typing the tag in the tags field ? and pressing the <\/span>“Enter”<\/b> key on your keyboard or by selecting one of the old tags from the dropdown list.<\/span><\/p>\n

Note: Both categories and tags are useful in distinguishing clients and in filtering operations during searches.<\/span><\/p>\n

Categories are preferred when adopting a distinction of a group of clients on a prolonged basis or to rely on them in subsequent procedures such as establishing a dedicated client base.<\/span><\/p>\n

And tags are preferred to express emergency situations or if you just want to facilitate the search and filtering process.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
