  2. Click on ‘General Account Settings<\/strong>.’<\/li>\n
  3. Click on ‘Accounts Routing<\/strong>.’<\/li>\n
  4. Choose ‘Treasury<\/strong>‘ from the menu on the right side.<\/li>\n
  5. Select the account routing type as ‘Assign for each<\/strong>‘ instead of ‘Automatic account routing<\/strong>,’ as shown below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Click on the “Add Treasury<\/strong>” button. Enter the treasury details as required:<\/p>\n

    • Status<\/strong>: Choose “Active<\/strong>” to enable the cash account or “Inactive<\/strong>” to disable it.<\/li>\n
    • Treasury<\/strong> : Enter the name you want for the cash account, as it will appear in the program’s lists and windows.<\/li>\n
    • Description<\/strong>: Add a general description of the cash account’s nature or purpose.<\/li>\n
    • Account<\/strong>: Delete \u2018Default Account<\/strong>,’ then select the subaccount associated with the ‘Allowed Discount’ account.<\/li>\n
    • Permissions<\/strong>:\n

      • Deposit<\/strong>: Choose the deposit permission from the dropdown list for a specific employee, job role, branch, or all.<\/li>\n
      • Withdraw<\/strong>: Choose the withdrawal permission from the dropdown list for a specific employee, job role, branch, or all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        1. For example, let’s say we have an invoice with a value of 1000 Riyals. The client has already paid 900 Riyals, and there is a remaining amount of 100 Riyals to be given as a discount.To add the discount to the invoice through the Sales Management page, follow these steps:\n

          1. Click on ‘Add Payment<\/strong>‘ within the invoice.<\/li>\n
          2. Choose the treasury linked to the discount, as explained earlier in the ‘Treasury<\/strong>‘ field.<\/li>\n
          3. Enter the value you want to give to the customer as a discount in the ‘Amount<\/strong>‘ field.<\/li>\n
          4. Click ‘Add Payment<\/strong>‘ to save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            After executing these steps, the accounting impact will be as follows:<\/p>\n

            • The invoice is now considered fully paid after adding the payment.<\/li>\n
            • The payment does not affect the treasury balance; instead, it affects the discount account and offsets against the client\u2019s account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
