[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You can individually update an employee\u2019s leave balance without changing the leave policy or affecting the rest of the employees. This feature is useful for making adjustments based on special cases, such as granting additional leave days, correcting errors, or carrying over unused leave from a previous period. The update can be done directly from the employee\u2019s profile, ensuring accurate and flexible leave management.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Click on \u201cManage Employees<\/strong>\u201d from the dropdown menu under \u201cEmployees<\/strong>,\u201d then choose the employee whose leave balance you need to update.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Click on \u201cAttendance<\/strong>\u201c, scroll down to find the \u201cLeave Balance<\/strong>\u201d section, then click \u201cUpdate Credit<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n

The system will direct you to the leave balance editing page, where you can adjust the employee\u2019s leave balance. From there, you can add or deduct leave days, specify the reason for the adjustment, and save the changes to ensure accurate record-keeping.<\/p>\n

In the following example, the employee \u201cJack<\/strong>\u201d has no remaining casual leave, as he has already used his full casual balance of 6 days, as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we have noted in the notes section that two days have been carried over from the previous cycle.<\/p>\n

Now, click on the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n

Returning to the employee\u2019s profile, we can see that the casual leave balance is now 8 days, with 2 days remaining, along with the clarifying note we added for reference.<\/p>\n
