Custom\/related forms for production plans allow adding a set of data on a separate page as part of the production plan file. For example, you can add a relevant form that includes the expected number of manufacturing orders to be created based on this production plan.\u00a0This form can be added to a specific production plan you wish to include it for, without the need to add it to all production plans. Here are the details for adding and using \u201cRelated forms\u201d<\/strong> in this guide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The related form consists of a part that includes basic information such as the name of the form and who has access and transaction permissions, and the second part relates to the design of the form, where fields are added and their properties are controlled. To add a new related form:<\/p>\n

Click on\u00a0\u201cSettings\u201d<\/b>\u00a0from the\u00a0\u201cManufacturing\u201d<\/b>\u00a0dropdown in the main menu and click on the\u00a0\u201cProduction Plan Related Forms\u201d<\/b>\u00a0card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Enter the custom form information:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Name:<\/b>\u00a0Enter a name for the custom form, preferably descriptive of its purpose.<\/li>\n
  • Key:<\/b>\u00a0Similar to a code that identifies the template, which can be a number or an English letter.<\/li>\n
  • Status:<\/b> Choose “Active”<\/strong> to enable the use of the template or “Inactive”<\/strong> to disable it.<\/li>\n
  • Description:<\/b>\u00a0If there are any details worth including about the custom form and its purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Control the permissions of the custom form:<\/b><\/p>\n

    • Add Record:<\/b>\u00a0Choose who can add this custom record. Is it available to a specific branch, department, designation, or just one employee?<\/li>\n

    • View Record:<\/b>\u00a0Choose who can view this custom record.<\/li>\n

      After adding information and permissions for the custom form, you are taken to the form design page. Here in the menu, you will find fields of various types that allow for the inclusion of different types of data in the form. You can add:<\/p>\n

      • Single or multiple-line text statements.<\/li>\n
      • A dropdown list containing choices.<\/li>\n
      • Email.<\/li>\n
      • Date.<\/li>\n
      • URL.<\/li>\n
      • Map.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        And many other types of data.<\/p>\n

        Simply drag and drop the desired field type into the center, write the field title, modify its settings, control its properties, and then click the “Save”<\/strong> button.

        The field key (Key) must be unique to this field and different from the keys of any other field in the same form, and the field is to be made up of numbers or English letters, and separated by an underscore (_).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Click on the\u00a0\u201cAdd\u201d<\/b> button and select the custom form you wish to add to the Production Plan from the dropdown menu.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        Enter the required information in the form fields and then click the\u00a0\u201cSave\u201d<\/b>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

        After adding the custom form to the supplier, a tab named after the custom form appears in the supplier\u2019s profile alongside the \u201cDetails,\u201d \u201cActivity Log,\u201d \u201cManufacturing Orders,\u201d and other tabs.<\/p>\n

        To take action on this production plan\u2019s custom form, click on the three dots next to it \u201c\u2026\u201d and choose from the dropdown menu:<\/p>\n

          Then click on the three dots next to the form name \u201c\u2026\u201d and choose:<\/p>\n

          • Manage Records:<\/b> Click this to review all the production plan forms you have added for your production plans from this custom form.<\/li>\n
          • Form Builder:<\/b>\u00a0Click this if you want to modify the design of the custom form.<\/li>\n
          • Edit:<\/b> To edit the basic information of the custom form, such as its name and permissions.<\/li>\n
          • Delete:<\/b>\u00a0To delete the custom form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
