Its importance lies in the fact that all financial reports and statements are built upon it.<\/p>\n<p>The chart of accounts consists of hierarchical levels, starting with main accounts, followed by sub-accounts, and then more specific sub-accounts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For example, the code for assets is (1), which is a primary account that includes a main account called current assets with the code (11), and under current assets, there is the cash account with the code (111), and so on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The system&#8217;s chart of accounts comes pre-configured and ready for immediate use, and you can make the desired modifications to suit the nature of your business.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Viewing the Chart of Accounts&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|font_size:28|text_align:center|color:%2304306b|line_height:2&#8243; use_theme_fonts=&#8221;yes&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1746520290574{margin-left: 200px !important;background-color: #f6f9fc !important;border-radius: 4px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1746520582137{margin-left: 200px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Click on &#8220;<strong>Chart of Accounts<\/strong>&#8221; from the &#8220;<strong>Accounting<\/strong>&#8221; dropdown menu in the main menu to find the chart of accounts displayed. The tree structure will appear on the left side, and the balances of the main and sub-accounts will appear on the right side.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The chart consists of five main accounts, which are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Assets with the code (1).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Liabilities with the code (2).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Owner&#8217;s Equity with the code (3).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Revenues with the code (4).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Expenses with the code (5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These main accounts branch into sub-accounts that you can view by clicking on them. Instead, they are added through their respective apps. For example, when adding a client named &#8220;<strong>Client 1<\/strong>&#8221; from the Clients page in the system, an account is created under Receivables under Current Assets in the system called &#8220;<strong>Client 1,<\/strong>&#8221; and the related accounts are automatically balanced in its account.
