    Steps to delete a purchase invoice<\/h2>\n

    1. From the main menu, click Purchases<\/strong>, then Purchase Invoices<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Open the purchase invoice you want to delete.<\/li>\n
    3. Click Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Click Yes<\/strong> when the confirmation message appears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      To delete several invoices, select them in the list and choose Delete<\/strong> from Actions<\/strong>. The invoices that can be deleted are deleted, and the reason the rest are blocked appears next to each one.<\/p>\n

      When is deleting a purchase invoice blocked?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
      Cause<\/th>\nMessage<\/th>\nSolution<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
      The invoice is received<\/strong> (and requisitions are turned off).<\/td>\nYou are not allowed to delete this record as it’s already received<\/strong><\/td>\nOn the invoice page, click Mark as Unreceived<\/strong>, then delete it.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      The purchased quantity was sold, issued or transferred after it was received.<\/td>\nThis quantity already has a transaction<\/strong><\/td>\nThe receipt can’t be cancelled because stock would go negative. Use a Purchase Refund<\/strong>, or delete the later transactions first.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      The invoice’s requisition is Approved<\/strong> or Rejected<\/strong> (and requisitions are enabled).<\/td>\nYou cannot delete the purchase invoice that has approved requisition<\/strong><\/td>\nDelete the linked requisition<\/strong><\/a> first. See the details<\/strong><\/a>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      The invoice is linked to a Purchase Refund<\/strong>, Debit Note<\/strong> or Credit Note<\/strong>.<\/td>\n(the invoice) cannot be deleted because it has linked refunds, credit notes, or debit notes. Remove the linked documents first.<\/strong><\/td>\nDelete the linked refunds and notes first.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      The invoice date is within a closed period<\/strong>.<\/td>\nYou can not add, edit, or delete a transaction in this date (the invoice date) within a closed period<\/strong><\/td>\nOpen the closed period<\/strong><\/a> temporarily, then delete the invoice.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
