The inventory turnover report allows you to track product performance and measure how quickly items are sold over a specific period of time. This report helps you evaluate the efficiency of inventory management and ensure the continuous flow of goods without overstocking or stockouts.<\/p>\n

Steps to View the Report:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. From the main menu, click \u201cReports<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
  2. Select \u201cStore Reports<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u201cInventory Turnover Report<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Set the required time period (From Date \u2013 To Date<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  5. Choose the warehouse or products you want the report to display.<\/li>\n
  6. Click the \u201cView Report<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Report Content and Key Columns:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Code:<\/strong> The unique identifier of the item.<\/li>\n
    • Name:<\/strong> The name of the product or service.<\/li>\n
    • Cost of Sales:<\/strong> Displays the average cost price of the product. When the product is sold, the cost entry is created based on the value shown in this column.<\/li>\n
    • Beginning Average Inventory:<\/strong> Represents the first average cost price of the product starting from the first addition (purchase invoice or stock receipt voucher).<\/li>\n
    • Ending Average Inventory:<\/strong> Displays the latest average cost price of the product, calculated using the formula:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      (Average Cost Price \u00d7 Current Available Quantity<\/strong>).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

      • Average Inventory:<\/strong> Calculated using the formula:
        \n((Opening Average Inventory + Closing Average Inventory<\/strong>) \u00f7 2<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Turnover Ratio (%):<\/strong> Indicates the rate at which inventory is sold, calculated using the formula:
          \n(Cost of Sales \u00f7 Inventory Value<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Turnover (Times):<\/strong> Shows the number of times inventory was sold during the period, calculated as:
            \n(Turnover Ratio \u00d7 Number of Days in the Report Period<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Avg. Days to Sell Inventory:<\/strong> Shows the time needed to sell out the entire inventory, calculated as:
              \n(Number of Days in the Report Period \u00f7 Turnover Ratio<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Brand:<\/strong> The brand of the product.<\/li>\n
              • Branch:<\/strong> The branch associated with the item.<\/li>\n
              • Category:<\/strong> The group or classification.<\/li>\n
