Step 1: Export Product Data<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. From the main menu, go to Inventory<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Products & Services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the products you want to stop tracking (use the checkboxes<\/li>\n
  4. next to the products).<\/li>\n
  5. From the Actions<\/strong> button, choose Export<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 2: Edit the Exported File<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Open the exported Excel file.<\/li>\n
    2. Delete all columns that you do not need to update, keeping only the following columns:\n
        \n
      • \n

        name<\/strong> (Product Name)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        product code<\/strong> (Product Code)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Type<\/strong> (Type)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        track stock<\/strong> (Track Stock)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

      • Change the value in the track stock<\/strong> column to 0<\/strong> for all products you want to stop tracking.<\/li>\n
      • Save the file after editing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Step 3: Import the Edited File<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        1. Go back to the Products & Services<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n
        2. Click Import<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Select the file you edited and saved earlier.<\/li>\n
        4. Select the Comma Separated<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
        5. Click Next Step<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Step 4: Match the Data<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          1. From the data matching screen, link the following columns:\n
              \n
            • \n

              Product Name: Name<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Product Code: Product Code<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Type: Type<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Track Stock: Track Stock<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

            • Enable the option Update an existing Product with new data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            • Select a field such as Name<\/strong> to identify the data to be updated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Step 5: Complete the Import Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                \n
              1. Click Import<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              2. Once the process is complete, open any of the products you edited.
                You will find that the tracking status is now set to Active <\/strong>(meaning the product is no longer being tracked).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
