Steps to Apply an Advance Payment to a Sales Invoice:<\/b><\/h2>\n

  1. From the main menu, select <\/span>“Sales”<\/b>.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. From the dropdown, choose <\/span>“Create Invoice”<\/b>.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Fill in the required invoice details using <\/span>this guide<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Enable the <\/span>“Advance Payments”<\/b> option to display the related fields.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. From the <\/span>“Advance Payment Invoice”<\/b> dropdown, select the invoice containing the advance to be applied.<\/span>\n
      \n
    • The <\/span>Unsettled Amount<\/b> will appear automatically.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • In the <\/span>“Amount”<\/b> field, enter the value you want to apply to this invoice.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Click <\/span>“Save & Don\u2019t Print”<\/b>, or use the arrow on the left to select <\/span>“Save & Print”<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Notes:<\/b><\/p>\n

      • When linking an advance payment to an invoice, only invoices with an available balance will appear in the dropdown list.<\/span>
        \n<\/span><\/li>\n
