{"id":29763,"date":"2025-02-15T16:19:39","date_gmt":"2025-02-15T16:19:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/docs.daftra.com\/?post_type=tutorial&#038;p=29763"},"modified":"2025-02-15T16:19:39","modified_gmt":"2025-02-15T16:19:39","slug":"distributing-existing-credit-balance-in-the-client-profile","status":"publish","type":"tutorial","link":"https:\/\/docs.daftra.com\/en\/tutorial\/distributing-existing-credit-balance-in-the-client-profile\/","title":{"rendered":"Distributing existing credit balance in the client profile"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>If the client has a previous\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.daftra.com\/en\/tutorial\/distributing-payments\/\">credit balance<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0from payments, refunds, or other transactions, this balance can be distributed to invoices without manually entering a payment balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>\u201cClients\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0from the main menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>\u201cManage Clients\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the desired client to view their profile.\n<ul>\n<li>The client\u2019s credit balance will appear at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on the\u00a0<strong>\u201cDistribute\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0link next to the client\u2019s credit.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the required information for the<strong>\u00a0invoices to be paid<\/strong>\u00a0as follows:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201cInvoices\u201d:<\/strong>\u00a0Choose the invoice to be paid from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cDistribution Amount\u201d<\/strong>: Specify the amount to be deducted from the credit balance to complete the payment.
