You can pin the actions you use most to the Pinned Actions<\/strong> group in Quick Actions and run them with a keyboard shortcut from any page without opening the screen. This guide explains pinning, shortcuts, and how to customize them from Commands Configuration.<\/p>\n

    Pin an action<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. Open Quick Actions using the +<\/strong> button in the top bar or Ctrl + \/<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Hover over the action card, from the Quick Actions home screen, a system section, or the search results.<\/li>\n
    3. Click the pin icon (Pin<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The action moves to the Pinned Actions<\/strong> group at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

      Pin the current page<\/h2>\n

      To pin the page you have open, click Pin Current Page<\/strong> at the end of the Quick Actions section; the page name appears below it. The message Page pinned successfully<\/strong> appears.<\/p>\n

      Note:<\/strong> If the message This page cannot be pinned yet.<\/strong> appears, this page isn’t available for pinning; search for the action you need in Quick Actions and pin it from its card.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Unpin an action<\/h2>\n

      Hover over the pinned action and click the pin icon (Unpin<\/strong>). You can also delete the pin from Commands Configuration.<\/p>\n

      Keyboard shortcuts<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • The first 9 pinned actions automatically get the shortcuts Ctrl + Shift + 1<\/strong> to Ctrl + Shift + 9<\/strong> based on their order.<\/li>\n
      • Actions pinned after the ninth don’t get a shortcut automatically, and you can assign one to them manually.<\/li>\n
      • The shortcut appears below the action name in the Pinned Actions group.<\/li>\n
      • Press the shortcut on any page to open the action directly without opening the Quick Actions screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Note:<\/strong> Shortcuts don’t work while you’re typing in a text field or while the Commands Configuration<\/strong> screen is open. Shortcuts also use the Ctrl key on Mac.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        Commands Configuration<\/h2>\n

        Open Commands Configuration in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Click Configure<\/strong> at the top of the Quick Actions screen.<\/li>\n
        • Or click Assign New Shortcuts<\/strong> at the end of the Quick Actions section.<\/li>\n
        • Or click the gear icon on the pinned action card to edit it directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          All pinned actions appear as cards, and each card contains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
          Element<\/th>\nFunction<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
          Drag handle (\u283f)<\/td>\nReorder pin<\/strong> by drag and drop.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
          Action list<\/td>\nChange the pinned action. You can search it using Search commands<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
          Keyboard icon<\/td>\nAssign keyboard shortcut<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
          Delete icon<\/td>\nDelete pin<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

          After editing, click Save<\/strong>, and the message Configuration saved successfully<\/strong> appears.<\/p>\n

          Warning:<\/strong> If you close the screen before saving, the message You have unsaved changes. Are you sure you want to leave?<\/strong> appears, and clicking Leave<\/strong> discards your changes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

          Assign or change a shortcut<\/h2>\n
            \n
          1. On the action card, click the keyboard icon.<\/li>\n
          2. A keyboard appears with the Ctrl<\/strong> and Shift<\/strong> keys preselected, and the current shortcut next to Assigned hotkeys:<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          3. Choose a letter or number from the available keys.<\/li>\n
          4. Click Confirm<\/strong>, then Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Available keys appear with a clear border, and faded keys can’t be selected:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • Keys reserved for the browser: T, N, W, Q, P, I, J, C, R, B, O, D, and M.<\/li>\n
            • Keys used in another pinned action’s shortcut.<\/li>\n
            • Keys other than letters and numbers, such as symbols and F keys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Note:<\/strong> The Assign New Shortcuts<\/strong> button in Commands Configuration opens the keyboard for the first pinned action without a shortcut, and it’s unavailable if all pinned actions have shortcuts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

              Change, reorder, and delete pins<\/h2>\n
                \n
              • Change the action:<\/strong> Choose another action from the action list on the card. You can’t choose an action that’s already pinned.<\/li>\n
              • Reorder:<\/strong> Drag the card by its handle (\u283f) to the position you want.<\/li>\n
              • Delete:<\/strong> Click the delete icon on the card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Then click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                Inactive pinned actions<\/h2>\n

                A pinned action appears faded and can’t be opened if it’s no longer available to you; Inactive<\/strong> appears next to it in Commands Configuration, and its shortcut doesn’t work. Hover over it to see the reason:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

                Can my colleagues see the actions I pinned?<\/h3>\n

                No. Pins, shortcuts, and their order are personal to each user.<\/p>\n

                Why doesn’t the tenth action I pinned have a shortcut?<\/h3>\n

                Because automatic shortcuts are only for the first 9 pinned actions. Assign a shortcut to it from Commands Configuration.<\/p>\n

                Why isn’t the shortcut working?<\/h3>\n
