The system records actions performed on transactions and records, including additions, modifications, deletions, and other activities, along with the username and the time of each action. This guide explains how to find the last modification or activity performed on a transaction, either from the transaction’s own page or from the account’s general activity log, and what is recorded for each transaction type.<\/p>\n

    Quick Method: From the Transaction Page<\/h2>\n

    1. Open the transaction, such as an invoice, inventory requisition, or product.<\/li>\n
    2. Click the Activity Log<\/strong> tab (or Timeline<\/strong> in some screens).<\/li>\n
    3. All actions performed on the transaction appear, with the most recent at the top. You can see who performed each action, when it occurred, and what was done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Note:<\/strong> If the tab does not appear, either no activities have been recorded for the transaction yet, or you do not have permission to view the activity log.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Two Types of Activity Logs<\/h2>\n

      The level of detail varies depending on the transaction type:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
      <\/th>\nDetailed Log (Before and After)<\/strong><\/th>\nSummary Log<\/strong><\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
      What it displays<\/strong><\/td>\nThe username, time, and branch, along with every field that changed<\/strong>: old value \u2192 new value.<\/td>\nA single sentence describing the action, such as \u201cAhmed modified inventory issue requisition #12,\u201d along with some basic details (number, client, total, and status), without field-level details.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
