You can search by the client&#8217;s name, code, email or mobile number, and it shows active clients only. If the Branches app is enabled, the list shows only the current branch&#8217;s clients, unless clients are shared between branches. It opens only after you choose the work item, and the first unit is selected automatically.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">To add a new line, click one of the three buttons below the table: <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Main Tender<\/strong>, <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Subtender<\/strong> or <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Work Item<\/strong>. The Main Tender button is always available, while the Subtender and Work Item buttons stay disabled until there&#8217;s at least one main tender line. You can add up to 3 levels of subtenders, and add a work item only under the last subtender, or under the main tender if it has no subtenders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">You can also:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">Select several lines to run bulk actions. A bar appears below the table with the number of selected lines and the <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Delete<\/strong>, <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Expand Group<\/strong> and <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Collapse Group<\/strong> buttons.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">Drag any item with its sub-items and drop it at a matching level to reorder it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">After filling in the details, click <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Save<\/strong> to save the bid as <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Issued<\/strong>, <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Save as Draft<\/strong>, or <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Cancel<\/strong> to discard all changes.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"unit\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Why is the Unit field locked?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">The <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Unit<\/strong> field in a work item line stays locked until you choose the <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Work Item<\/strong> in the same line, because the available units are loaded from the chosen work item&#8217;s unit template. Without it, the button is disabled with the hint <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Requires Permission<\/strong>. If the work item has been used in earlier transactions, its unit template and base unit name can&#8217;t be changed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"how\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">How the system works<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">You can&#8217;t add a sub-tender under a main tender or sub-tender that already contains a work item; work items are added only at the last level.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">If the account&#8217;s plan doesn&#8217;t allow more bids, creating a new record is blocked, and a message appears with an <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Upgrade Now<\/strong> button and a <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Cancel<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">When you save the bid, it&#8217;s added under the branch the user signed in from, and the action is recorded in the activity log.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">When you edit a bid that has quotations or cost sheets, the <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Client<\/strong> field is locked and can&#8217;t be changed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">A bid linked to a project can&#8217;t be edited or deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"validation\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Validation rules<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">If you leave a required field empty, <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Required<\/strong> appears next to it, and the Unit field shows <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Unit is required<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">Item titles at the same level under the same parent item must be unique. If a title is repeated, the message <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Title should be unique<\/strong> appears.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\">When you delete one or more lines that contain sub-items, a confirmation window titled <strong style=\"color: #111827;\">Deleting lines with sub-items<\/strong> appears.
