spans multiple pages or related documents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">Before You Begin<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must have the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cAdd color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Steps to Upload and Merge Multiple Files into a Single Expense<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">First: Uploading the Files<\/b><\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cUpload Receipts\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> screen using AI, choose one style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the uploaded files list, enable <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cBulk Actions.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the files you want to merge together into a single expense, or tap <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cSelect All,\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> then tap <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cMerge Invoices.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cMerge [number of invoices] Invoices Into\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> screen, enter the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">Group Name <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">name, then tap <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cSave.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The app groups these files together under the group name, where a delete icon and a hide\/show icon appear next to the group name.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once AI processing starts, all selected files are merged into a single processing unit, and appear in the processing list under a unified name.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"how_the_system_works\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">How the System Works<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first file selected within the merge group is used as the main reference file for extracting the expense data via AI.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remaining selected files are included in the processing operation, and are all attached to the resulting expense as additional attachments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only one expense is created from the fully merged group of files, and all files appear as a single item within the processing and results lists.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"validation_rules\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Validation Rules<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The account must have a sufficient balance of <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">AI Coins (AIC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to complete the processing operation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">File type:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> only JPG, PNG, PDF, or XLSX are accepted; any other type is automatically rejected with a clear error message.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">File size:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> must not exceed 10MB per file; larger files are rejected.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">Number of files:<\/b><span
