The Expenses app relies on a sync mechanism that links expenses recorded on your device to your account, so they\u2019re automatically reflected in the main system and visible to other users. This guide explains the different sync statuses and how to manually retry syncing when needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sync Statuses<\/h2>\n

Each expense goes through one of the following statuses, shown next to a dedicated icon at the top of the \u201cExpense<\/strong> Details<\/strong>\u201d screen:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Synced:<\/strong> The expense has been successfully uploaded and linked to your account, shown with a green cloud icon and a \u2713 mark.<\/li>\n
  • Sync:<\/strong> The expense is awaiting sync (currently uploading, or there\u2019s no internet connection at the moment).<\/li>\n
  • Failed:<\/strong> The expense could not be synced for some reason.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Manually Syncing a Single Expense<\/h2>\n

    If an expense is in \u201cSync<\/strong>\u201d or \u201cFailed<\/strong>\u201d status, you can manually retry syncing it:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Open the required expense from the \u201cHome<\/strong>\u201d screen or the \u201cExpenses<\/strong> List<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
    2. Tap the \u201cMore Options<\/strong>\u201d (\u22ef) icon in the header.<\/li>\n
    3. Select \u201cSync<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
    4. The app immediately attempts to upload the expense, and the status shown at the top of the screen updates based on the result.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Bulk Syncing from the \"Account\" Screen<\/h2>\n

      You can also perform a bulk sync covering all expenses that haven\u2019t been synced yet, without needing to open each expense individually:<\/p>\n

      1. From the bottom navigation bar, tap \u201cAccount<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n
      2. Tap the \u201cSync<\/strong>\u201d item.<\/li>\n
      3. The app attempts to sync all expenses still in \u201cSync<\/strong>\u201d or \u201cFailed<\/strong>\u201d status at once.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        • Each expense\u2019s status updates immediately on screen after a sync attempt succeeds or fails.<\/li>\n
