The deletion process is final and cannot be undone, and it directly affects the related journal accounts and treasuries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 14px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">Before You Begin<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The user must have the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cEdit &amp; Delete All Expenses\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cEdit &amp; Delete His Own (Created) Expenses\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> permission.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"steps_to_delete_an_expense\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Steps to Delete an Expense<\/h2>\n<ol style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An expense can be deleted in two ways:<\/span>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">First Method \u2014 From the Expenses List:<\/b>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cExpenses\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> screen, tap the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cMore\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon (\u2026) for the expense you want to delete.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cDelete\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the bottom sheet.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><b style=\"color: #111827;\">Second Method \u2014 From the Expense Details Screen:<\/b>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the required expense from the expenses list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap the <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cMore\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon (\u2026) at the top of the expense details screen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cDelete\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the bottom sheet.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A confirmation bottom sheet appears titled <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cDelete Expense?\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, containing the following message: <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cAre you sure you want to delete Expense #[Expense Number]? This action cannot be undone and will be reflected in the journal accounts and treasury.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 10px; line-height: 1.9; font-size: 16px; color: #1f2430;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tap <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cDelete\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to confirm the permanent deletion, or tap <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cCancel\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to back out of the operation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"how_the_system_works\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">How the System Works<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cDelete\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is tapped, the expense\u2019s data is deleted immediately and permanently from the system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The journal accounts and treasury balances linked to the deleted expense are automatically updated as soon as the deletion is confirmed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deleted expense disappears immediately from the expenses list, without needing to manually reload the screen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When <\/span><b style=\"color: #111827;\">\u201cCancel\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is tapped, the confirmation window closes without executing any deletion, and the expense remains unchanged.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"notes\" style=\"font-size: 22px; font-weight: bold; color: #111827; margin: 32px 0 14px; padding-bottom: 8px; border-bottom: 2px solid #eef0f3;\">Notes<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"margin: 0 0 16px; padding-left: 26px;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The deletion process is final and cannot be undone; it is recommended to be fully certain before proceeding with the deletion, especially since the effect is directly reflected in the journal accounts and related treasury balances.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"author":39,"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[5156,5202],"tags":[13362,13360,13357,13358,13364,13363,13359,13361],"class_list":["post-143557","tutorial","type-tutorial","status-publish","hentry","category-daftras-applications","category-fast-expense-recording","tag-can-i-undo-deleting-an-expense","tag-confirm-permanent-expense-deletion","tag-delete-an-expense","tag-delete-an-expense-from-mobile-app","tag-delete-an-expense-from-the-details-screen","tag-delete-an-expense-from-the-expenses-list","tag-effect-of-deleting-an-expense-on-treasury","tag-how-do-i-delete-an-expense-from-mobile"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.8 -
