This page is only available when the &#8220;<strong>Rental and Unit Management<\/strong>&#8221; app is activated in the system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>To access the auto numbering settings page:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the main menu, go to \u201c<\/span><b>Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select \u201c<\/span><b>Auto Numbering Settings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">From the side menu, click on \u201c<b>Reservation Order<\/b>\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This page gives you full control over the settings below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Next Number: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter the number that the system will assign to the next reservation order. The system starts numbering automatically from this value when any new reservation order is created.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Sequence Format: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the format to use for generating numbers. Available options include numeric digits, letters, or a combination of both. For example: Numeric digits (0, 1, 2, \u2026).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Number of Digits: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set the total number of slots for the sequential number. If the number is shorter than the specified length, zeros are automatically added to the left. For example: if the length is 5 and the current number is 3, it will appear as 00003.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Unique: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enable this option to ensure that each number in the sequence is unique and not duplicated in the system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Prefix: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enable this option to define a prefix to be added before the reservation order number. The prefix can be fixed such as INV-001, or variable based on the year or month such as 001-2025 or APR-001.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When the prefix is enabled, the following options appear:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Prefix Format: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter a fixed prefix text such as INV, or variable formats such as %Y or %m to be used in reservation order numbers. You can refer to the &#8220;<\/span><b>Variables Guide<\/b>&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to view all available format codes and examples.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Prefix Change Options: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This option appears only when using a variable prefix. Choose how the system handles numbering when the prefix changes:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Continue from the Last Number:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Numbering continues sequentially from the last used number regardless of prefix changes. For example: if you start with the prefix Mon and generate Mon-001 and Mon-002, then switch to Tue, the next number will be Tue-003.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Create a Separate Serial for Each Prefix: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each prefix has its own independent numbering sequence. For example: Mon-001, Mon-002, and Tue-001, Tue-002. The following Monday, the sequence continues as Mon-003.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Start from Beginning:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Numbering resets to 1 whenever the prefix changes.
