Sometimes, when creating a sales\/purchase invoice or inbound\/outbound requisitions for a specific product, you may find that the quantity of the product in inventory has not been affected by these transactions. This could be due to one of the following possibilities:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The ‘Track Stock<\/strong>‘ option for this product is not activated. You can activate this option by following these steps:\n
      \n
    1. Inventory > Products and Services > ‘Select the product experiencing the issue’ > Edit > Enable ‘Track Stock.’<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Manually<\/strong> entering the product name in the invoice without selecting it from the drop-down list of products.<\/li>\n
    3. This item may be categorized as a ‘service<\/strong>‘ rather than a ‘product<\/strong>,’ and in this case, inventory transactions won’t affect it. It must be classified as a ‘product<\/strong>‘ to be impacted by inventory movements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
