Sometimes, one may need to modify the tracking type of a product and change it from one type to another. For example, you might need to change the tracking type from “Expiration Date” to “Expiration Date and Batch Number”.<\/p>\n

To implement this change, you need to activate the “Allow Negative Tracking Elements” option found in the inventory settings by following these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click on “Inventory<\/strong>” from the main menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on “Inventory Settings<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the “General<\/strong>” card.<\/li>\n
  4. Activate the “Allow Negative Tracking Items” option.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the “Save” button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After saving, you can modify the product’s tracking type, including the possibility of editing the product’s previous transactions and modifying the product’s tracking field.<\/p>\n
