This happens when the \u201cAuto Pay Invoices if the Client Has Available Credit<\/strong>\u201d option is enabled. You can find it under \u201cSales<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cSales Settings<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cInvoices & Estimates Settings.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

When this option is activated, the system automatically checks the client’s account for any previous payments or credit notes and applies them to the new invoice, marking it as paid.<\/p>\n
